Oil–gas mixing tank with liquid-level monitoring

Model / SKU: SCH-1012  |  Quality / Standards: ISO 9001 QMS; PED/CE & ASME Sec. VIII Available

In medium- and low-pressure applications, oil–gas mixing tanks are used to control electro‑hydraulic servo systems, with water and air as the working fluids. Air is pressurized by an air compressor system. To ensure the reliability of the oil–gas mixing tank’s control, proper volumetric matching calculations must be performed, and a liquid‑level monitoring system should be installed.

Product Specifications & Technical Details

Oil–gas mixing tank products are among the earliest and most commonly used energy sources in electro‑hydraulic control systems for medium- and low-pressure applications. Their advantages include relatively low operating pressures; however, they also suffer from substantial operational and maintenance requirements, high noise levels, large installation footprints, and difficulty in meeting modern industrial demands for maintenance‑free operation. The core control requirements encompass: (1) anti‑corrosion treatment of the inner walls; (2) a reliable liquid‑level control system; and (3) accurate volumetric matching calculations.

Operating parameters of the Xiwel oil–gas mixing tank:

  • Common media: water (40%) and air (60%)
  • Maximum working pressure: 100 bar
  • Control System: Local liquid level display and pressure sampling, with automatic control for energy replenishment and overload protection.
  • Internal surface: Internally coated with qualified materials and treated for corrosion protection.
  • Equipped with a gas safety valve and an overflow drain valve.
