Schwerll’s in-house production line handles the machining of all metal components for its piston and bladder accumulators. The cylinder barrels of Schwerll piston accumulators are manufactured using an ultra-low-stress cold forming process, ensuring that the sealing system operates under conditions of virtually zero wear over exceptionally long service lives.
Compared with standard honing-and-roll-forming processes typically used by general hydraulic cylinder manufacturers, Schwerll’s proprietary technique eliminates elliptical deformation and residual stresses, preventing internal gas leakage and drastically reducing maintenance downtime.
Physicochemical & Fatigue Testing Laboratory
Schwerll operates accredited physicochemical and environmental testing laboratories:
- 100% Incoming Material Inspection: Optical emission spectroscopy and ultrasonic non-destructive testing on all forged steel and cylinder tubes.
- Million-Cycle Dynamic Fatigue Test Benches: Capable of verifying endurance under continuous high-frequency hydraulic impulses.
- Extreme Temperature Chambers: Validating seal elasticity and pressure integrity from -40°C to +150°C.
