High-pressure nitrogen hose assembly

Model / SKU: SCH-1039  |  Quality / Standards: ISO 9001 QMS; PED/CE & ASME Sec. VIII Available

SCHWERLL supplies specialized high-pressure gas hoses for accumulator system nitrogen hose assemblies, nitrogen‑charging and pressurization carts, and other applications. These hoses are engineered and manufactured specifically for high‑pressure gas service, utilizing dedicated materials and incorporating a puncture‑resistant treatment on the rubber surface of the finished product. Additionally, the metal fittings should be selected with designs, sealing configurations, and thread types that are compatible with the operating gas pressures.

Product Specifications & Technical Details

In applications where steel pipe connections are unsuitable for the gas‑side pressure lines of an accumulator system, nitrogen‑filled hose assemblies must be used. For example, die‑casting machines, due to their installation space constraints and vibration‑prone operating conditions, often require flexible hose connections between piston accumulators and gas cylinders. Gas‑pressure hoses differ from liquid‑pressure hose assemblies: because gas molecules are much smaller, high‑pressure gas hoses are constructed from multi‑layer composite rubber. If hydraulic‑grade high‑pressure hoses were employed, the gas molecules, under differential pressure, would induce inherent capillary permeation through the rubber material. When pressurized gas penetrates the rubber, it can cause bulging and pitting, leading to leakage in the hydraulic hose; in severe cases, this may result in rupture of the hose assembly, posing a serious safety hazard. Therefore, dedicated high‑pressure nitrogen‑specific gas hoses must be used.

SCHWERLL supplies specialized high-pressure gas hoses for accumulator systems, nitrogen‑charging hose assemblies, and inflation hoses used on nitrogen‑charging booster carts. These hoses are specifically designed and manufactured for high‑pressure gas service, employing dedicated materials and incorporating a puncture‑resistant treatment on the rubber surface of the finished product. Additionally, the metal fittings should be selected with structures, sealing configurations, and thread types that are compatible with the operating gas pressures.

In engineering practice, the most commonly used nitrogen‑pressure hoses are typically specified in sizes such as DN6, DN10, DN25, and DN32. This is because excessively large diameters would result in an excessive number of hose layers and a more complex structure; moreover, in China, once the hose diameter exceeds 50 mm, it must comply with the regulatory requirements for pressure pipelines under special equipment standards.
