Closed-Loop Pressurized Fuel Tank

Model / SKU: SCH-1022  |  Quality / Standards: ISO 9001 QMS; PED/CE & ASME Sec. VIII Available

In closed-loop systems, the use of conventional hydraulic reservoirs is constrained by system dynamics and installation space; therefore, pressurized reservoirs must be employed to form a closed hydraulic circuit, thereby reducing the overall equipment footprint.

Product Specifications & Technical Details

In closed-loop systems, the use of conventional hydraulic reservoirs is constrained by system dynamics and installation space; therefore, a Sevier pressurized reservoir must be employed to form a closed hydraulic circuit, thereby reducing the overall footprint.

In accordance with the system’s oil pump inlet pressure requirements, the booster tank outlet pressure is typically maintained within the range of 2–4 bar. For example, in wind turbine installations of 18 MW and above, a booster tank outlet pressure of approximately 3 bar is employed. The system is equipped with a booster tank and fixed‑type pressure vessels for expansion.
