Depending on the test objectives or the motion characteristics of the load, the following centralized energy‑supply configurations are typically employed:

  • A servo‑proportional valve manifold is employed to distribute the instantaneous flow rate from the accumulator, with control implemented via a PLC system, thereby enabling collision or pulse tests that meet standard test requirements.
  • A dedicated Sevier proximity valve manifold is employed, with the energy‑storage power source mounted directly on the manifold. Control is managed via a PLC system, enabling faster local control.
  • A gas‑liquid pressure‑boosting piston accumulator is employed, and a local controller mounted on the valve manifold enables nanosecond‑level local control, thereby achieving the experimental objective of delivering greater and faster energy.
